Era Boost Pro - Potato and drought stress
The objective of these studies was to evaluate the protection conferred by Era Boost Pro on potatoes subjected to water stress.
Material and methods
1. Experiment repeted over the winter of 2020 and 2021 in a greenhouse setting
2. Randomized block design
3. Watering was based of tensiometer values
5. Fertilization: Starter: 10.9-15.2-16.3 (922 kg/ha) + 2nd application: Amidas 40-0-0-5.5s (555 kg/ha)
6. 1.6L of Éra Boost Pro per ton of fertilizer, applied to the starter fertilizer (1.5 L/ha)
Potato root lenght
Water stress and the addition of Era Boost Pro stimulated root production during these trials. Water stress, by itself, increases root production by 15% in the control and by 17% in plants treated with Era Boost Pro. This result shows that the plant is indeed experiencing stress, because it is trying to adapt by producing more roots to assimilate all the water available.
Potato under water stress
Adding Era Boost Pro, with and without stress, induces the plant to produce more roots too. This statistically significant difference of 8.8% allows the plant to develop better and produce a better yield by maximizing the absorption of all the water available.
Era Boost Pro helps maintain yields with 25% less water.

The addition of Era Boost Pro also increases the yield of potatoes, as demonstrated in another case study in greater detail.
