Mode of action

  • Low molecular weight chitosan contributes to the phenomenon of induced systemic resistance (ISR) by activating the jasmonic acid immune defense pathway.
  • Salicilin, an anti-inflammatory produced in the bark of the white willow tree, induces the phenomenon of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) by activating the salicylic acid defense mechanism.
