Agricultural Microbiome: Mission and History of Ulysse Biotech
Our Mission
Turning microbiome science into microbial solutions that deliver results under real production conditions.
Our Vision
Putting microbiome science to work for agriculture and sanitation practices that are effective, sustainable and measurable.
Our History
Ulysse Biotech was founded in 2014 in Trois-Rivières by Yves Hurtubise, Ph.D., and his colleagues Robert Bouchard and Anne Plamondon, with a clear objective: to translate microbiome engineering into products that work under real production conditions. François Gagné-Bourque, Ph.D., and Claire Letanneur, Ph.D., joined the team later, completing a group of researchers and industry-experienced managers. Our fermentation and formulation facilities are located in Trois-Rivières. Our clients are greenhouse and field producers in Canada, the United States and Africa.
